I like to look at this Google Trends chart, but being lazy human, I'll place it to this article so I don't have to create it every time. I added the ActiveCampaign project as comparison for Mautic as it is also marketing automation tool which started only 4 years before Mautic. Hubspot and Marketo are too old and big for comparison like this.
